2. On the 13th March, I asked forum friends for advice to find a personally recommended painter for my 3-bed house in central Chichester. I received an astonishing 42 replies, plus some private messages. The very next day, I met with Brad, of PERFECTION PAINTING and DECORATING who looked at the job of painting the whole interior of my house. I was impressed by his depth of knowledge and we discussed how he would take care of keeping paint off the carpets and also his remedy for a troublesome bathroom ceiling which had given us problems over the years. His price was fair and he was prepared to start work very quickly. He and his team of 2 other painters who were vastly experienced arrived and did a perfect job in just 4 days. My wife and I moved the smaller items and Brad and his men moved the heavier furniture. Everything was covered with new, plastic sheeting and dust sheets were laid on the floors. They took down the curtains and blinds and replaced them as they moved from one room to the next. It was carried out with an almost military precision. NO arguments, NO offensive language (some dubious singing along to Greatest Hits radio and a few bars of “Polly put the kettle on” to give my wife a hint that they were ready for another cup of tea!) Perfect gentlemen. Brad even phoned me 2 days after they had finished to check if we were happy with the work. Happy? – I would say that my wife and I were absolutely delighted and I would thoroughly recommend this great, little firm to anybody out there who needs an update on their house/apartment.
